It also manufactures turnstiles and barriers. The parent company markets its doors in more than 40 countries worldwide and operates factories in China, the Netherlands, and the US . Founded in 1873, Boon Edam B.V. produced its first revolving door in 1903. The US subsidiary took on its current form in 2005 when Boon Edam Inc. acquired Tomsed Corp.
