CPI Aero is into the contract manufacturing of structural aircraft parts for the US Air Force and other branches of the US Armed Forces. The company supplies structural aircraft part to the US government as a prime contractor. It also operates as a subcontractor to leading aircraft manufacturers. The company supplies structural aircraft parts to the US government. Its product portfolio includes skin panels, leading edges, flight control surfaces, engine components, wing tips, cowl doors, nacelle assemblies and inlet assemblies for military aircraft. It mainly serves military aircraft fleet such as the C-5A cargo jet, the T-38 Talon jet trainer, the C-130 Hercules cargo jet, the A-10 Thunderbolt attack jet, and the F-16 fighter jet. In FY2015, prime government contracts accounted for 4.29% of the total revenue, which grew 3.29% YoY. CPI Aero supplies a variety of pods, and modular and structural assemblies for military aircraft, such as the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, A-10 Thunderbolt attack jet, MH-60S mine counter measure helicopter and C-5A Galaxy cargo jet and E-2D Hawkeye surveillance aircraft. The company has supply contracts to leading defense prime contractors such as Northrop Grumman Corporation (Northrop Grumman), The Boeing Company (Boeing), Lockheed Martin Corporation (Lockheed Martin) and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (Sikorsky) and Bell Helicopter (Bell), among others. It also operates as a subcontractor for leading defense contractors such as Sikorsky and Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., for the production of commercial aircraft parts. The company delivers Sikorsky a range of kits and assemblies for the S-92 civilian helicopter. In FY2015, subcontracts with defense prime contractors and commercial contracts contributed 51% and 49% towards the total revenue, respectively. The company also offers value added services such as program management and integration, final assembly and kitting services, ,manufacturing engineering, tool design and fabrication, subcontract and logistics management, and testing and inspection services. Its major contracts include C-5A Galaxy as prime military contracts with US government; the E-2D Hawkeye and A-10 Thunderbolt as military subcontracts with prime contractors; and the Gulfstream G650 commercial subcontract with prime contractors.
