Environmental Coatings Inc. was founded in 1968 by chemist Jim McAllister to provide high-quality paints to the industrial market. For our first 30 years, ECI focused on supplying paints to the office furniture industry, a market demanding high-quality coatings, onsite service and consistency from batch-to-batch. ECI achieved ISO 9000 certification in 1994, and is proud to continue meeting the ISO-9001:2008 standard today.
