Founded in February of 2012, Steward Energy is an oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in Frisco, Texas. Steward Energy develops oil and natural gas reserves with a commitment to use the Principles of Stewardship. These principles include responsibly and effectively utilizing all talents, assets, and resources entrusted to us. Steward Energy greatly values our relationship with our investors, lessors, surface landowners, and vendors, and believes that a partnership with all is the best way to develop the oil and gas reserves entrusted to us. In August of 2012, Steward Energy, LLC ("Steward I") partnered with Natural Gas Partners and built a 10,000 acre position in the southern Delaware Basin in West Texas targeting the exciting Wolfbone resource play. Strategically placed appraisal well drilling identified over ten potential horizontal drilling targets in the 3,500' vertical oil column across the largely contiguous acreage. Steward I marketed and sold the coveted position in late 2014. Following the successful exit of Steward I, Founder Lance Taylor is reforming Steward Energy II, LLC ("Steward II") with an appropriate strategy for the current oil and gas market conditions. The Management Team's diverse and complementary skillset will be used to evaluate, acquire, and redevelop bypassed petroleum reserves in well documented reservoirs; a strategy of stewardship consistent with the foundational principles of Steward Energy.
