"Waste not, want not" goes for scrap metal too at A. Tenenbaum Company. Doing business as Tenenbaum Recycling Group (TRG), the company is the oldest scrap metal processor in Arkansas. Established in 1890, TRG's half a dozen scrap metal recycling yards and service centers purchase and process ferrous metals (iron and steel) and nonferrous metals (aluminum, brass, copper, nickel, and stainless steel) to sell to large steel mills, brokers, and exporters across the US. It recycles more than 350,000 tons of steel and 10 million pounds of cans per year. TRG also offers scrap management programs to help both large and small companies assess and improve their disposal methods.
